2.0 has been teething for a little over a month now. The first tooth popped out no problem. He only had one night with any real issues and that resulted in a 3:30 wake up. Then, the next day, presto, there was a tooth. But I could see the faint white shadow of a second tooth next door. This one would prove a problem.
It is now three weeks later and that tooth is still just under the skin. And we are all paying for it. I was traveling for work and got home very late on Thursday night. He had been sleeping through the night the three previous nights, so I assumed he would do so again. And on Thursday night he did. But Friday night...wow. He was up at 12:15, 4:15 and 7:30. And each time it was like someone was hitting him on the head with a rattle (I only can use this analogy because I now know how he will react to that since someone has hit him on the head with a rattle...twice. Side note, after hitting him, when he starts to cry she says, "it k, it k." Then "sawy." Then she gives him a kiss. It seems to do the trick.). He was screaming so loudly and with such ferociousness. He nursed and went back to his normal, wonderful self. But man oh man, can he scream when he wants to.
So, being the experienced parents we are, we drugged him the next night. :) Worked like a charm. The only issue we are having now is he thinks his new hardware is used to bite mom when he nurses. And he thinks it is funny when I bop him on the head when he does so. I'm sure it doesn't help that his sister laughs when I scream "ouch" and then runs around shouting "ouch!" over and over and over again. Glad my body is a fun little toy.
Here are a few photos from the past week. It was very eventful...

At Children's Hospital after dislocating her elbow. It was the left one, so she is obviously fine.
Rocking out with their sunglasses on.
Look at me! I am 4 months old now!
Can you believe he weighs 16 pounds and is already 27.5 inches tall? He is a giant.
Is she bringing me the kitty shoes?
Check out the new kitty shoes. She picked these out all by herself and refused to take them off.
Cool sneeks, just like dad. He would have gotten a pair of matching Hello Kitty ones if they had them in men's sizes.
Turning on the music on the swing for her brother. And dancing too. Gotta dance.
