Timing is everything in life, right? Historically, my husband and I have had terrible timing. We are never on the same page at the same time. We even couldn't get our wedding pulled off in a reasonable time frame. O'well, right. We've made it work.
Well, it seems our little Gremlin has impeccable timing, in many ways. Below are a few photos from last night. Lately, her favorite game is peak-a-boo. She will hide behind a curtain and when you ask the room where she is, poof, she reappears. Now she has taken to sitting in the pantry, closing the door and when you ask where she is, she pushes the door open and sticks her hands out. It is quite funny. If you ask her to do it again, she will. And she won't open the door until you ask where she is. Please note the little feet sticking out of the bottom of the pantry. That is the best part.

To prove how terrible my timing is in comparison, this morning I had the perfect shot. Her Majesty was on the bed and The Gremlin saw her and ran over. This prompted The Monster to need to be in on the sister-loving action, of course. Then The Gremlin insisted (emphatically banging on the bed saying "up, peas") on sitting next to Her Majesty. So for a brief moment, all three were sitting there "smiling" and looking at me. And I had my camera in my hand. But in the time it took me to focus on them, The Monster licked The Gremlin in the face and the moment was gone. Below is what I got instead.

Also, as an update for Grandma. The Gremlin has a new favorite food... perogies. And she can say the word. Guess it is time for me to learn how to make them. Or you could drive up a care package each month. ;)
The feet sticking out under the door is possibly the cutest thing I've ever seen.
ReplyDeleteGlad her Polish/Slovack heritage is shining through! Kielbasi and stuffed cabbage are next. I will be happy to bring the care packages but I would love to have a back up.
