We have been singing a lot. The Gremlin really likes The Wheels on the Bus, but our version is the kitty or doggy on the truck and usually involves pooping. We also like The Itsy Bitsy Spider but only if I do the hand gestures and she can see them - so that eliminates when I am driving the car.
Well, this morning on the way to the nanny she had her dog Violet, who plays songs. And one of the songs was The Itsy Bitsy Spider. Out of the corner of my eye I saw a hand flap out of the carseat, so I looked in the rearview mirror and there she was, doing the hand gestures...or some version of them. When the song ended she cheered and clapped.
So did I, sweetie. :)
And 2.0 is eating food now. He LOVES avocado. That thing is like ready-made baby food. Just cut open a ripe one and mush it up and poof. Baby food. He will eat an entire avocado in one day, plus six 4-oz servings of breast milk. Seriously, he is going to be able to sit on his sister when he can finally sit up.

Ok, the pic of them in the crib together looks like they just had a wild night of partying. Nolan is bragging about his conquest and Maddy is just happy she survived.
ReplyDeleteWe sing spider and wheels quite a bit. His favorite part of the bus is the wipers. I like the driver, but I always make him out to be an old angry black man.
